WA: Man's death takes WA holiday road toll to three

PERTH, Dec 31 AAP - The death of a man whose car hit a tree last night takes the West
Australian road toll to three for the Christmas holiday period.

The 21-year-old died when a car he was driving hit a tree about 7.30pm (WST) 4km west
of Goomalling, about 130km north-west from Perth.

A 19-year-old passenger received only minor injuries.

The man's death takes the WA road toll to 164 for 2001.
